APPRO Monthly Comic Commission Raffle

1. Eligibility

The APPRO Monthly Comic Commission Raffle ("Raffle") is open to individuals who meet all of the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry
  • Must have a valid SubscribeStar account
  • Must be a legal resident of a jurisdiction where participation is not prohibited by law
  • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of APPRO are not eligible

2. Entry Period

Each Raffle entry period begins at 12:00 AM UTC on the 1st of each month and closes at 11:59 PM UTC on the 14th of each month. Entries submitted after this deadline will not be accepted for that month's drawing.

Drawing Schedule

The winner will be drawn at 12:00 PM (noon) UTC on the 15th of each month. The drawing is automated and will occur at this time regardless of manual intervention.

3. How to Enter

Method of Entry

To enter the Raffle:

  • Visit raffle.approart.com during the entry period
  • Connect your SubscribeStar account via OAuth authentication
  • Click the "Enter Raffle" button to submit your entry

Entry Allocation

Entry weight is determined by your SubscribeStar subscription status at the time of entry:

  • $10+ Subscribers: 50 entries
  • All Others (including non-subscribers): 1 entry

No purchase necessary. Non-subscribers and lower-tier subscribers receive 1 entry at no cost.

Entry Limits

  • Limit one (1) entry per person per monthly Raffle period
  • Entry weight is locked at the time of submission and will not change if subscription status changes during the entry period
  • Duplicate entries will be rejected based on SubscribeStar user ID

4. Prize

Prize Description

The winner will receive one (1) short comic commission created by APPRO. The specific details of the prize, including comic length and subject matter guidelines, will be communicated to the winner directly.

Prize Restrictions

  • Prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other goods
  • APPRO reserves the right to refuse commission requests that violate content policies or terms of service
  • Winner must respond to notification by the 20th of the month to claim prize
  • Approximate retail value: Varies based on commission scope

5. Winner Selection

Drawing Method

The winner will be selected through a weighted random drawing. Each entry represents one "ticket" in the drawing pool. For example:

  • A $10+ subscriber has 50 tickets in the pool
  • A non-subscriber has 1 ticket in the pool

The drawing will be conducted using a cryptographically secure random selection method.

Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received and the distribution of entry weights. For example, if the drawing pool contains 500 total tickets (from a mix of premium and free entries), a premium subscriber would have approximately a 10% chance of winning (50/500), while a free entrant would have approximately a 0.2% chance (1/500).

6. Winner Notification

The winner will be contacted within 48 hours of the drawing via the email address associated with their SubscribeStar account and/or through SubscribeStar direct messaging.

Claim Deadline

Winners must respond and claim their prize by 11:59 PM UTC on the 20th of the drawing month. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond by this deadline, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected via reroll. The reroll process will continue until a winner successfully claims the prize or no eligible entries remain.

7. Privacy

Entry information collected includes: SubscribeStar user ID, display name, email address (if available), subscription tier, and timestamp. This information is used solely for the purpose of administering the Raffle and will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required by law.

8. General Conditions

  • APPRO reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Raffle if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the Raffle
  • APPRO reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules
  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of APPRO, which are final and binding
  • Winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release

9. Limitation of Liability

APPRO and its affiliates are not responsible for: (a) lost, late, misdirected, or unsuccessful entries; (b) technical malfunctions; (c) any injury or damage arising from participation in the Raffle or acceptance of the prize.

10. Governing Law

This Raffle is governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
